See, if we were in Germany, I would have to make yours, but we're in Italy and you gotta make mine. It's regulations.

Another atrocious photo. It's Al E. Gator, the courtesy gator. I was in a hurry to finish it, so I skipped the yellow ground around the swamp and just made it all green. I'll get some yellow thread before I stitch Openmouth E. Gator.

Remember Ninji? He's back, in shirt form!

I bought some waste canvas and tried my hand at a Ninji on an old t-shirt. It turned out about like I expected - except at about a 10 degree angle. The waste canvas must not have been on straight. Overall, it's a little sloppy, but still recognizable. Now the question is, which would impress people more: a Kung Fu Master themed suit, or a suit with a Yie Ar Kung Fu theme?

I Choo-Choo-Choose You.

I gave this to the Old Lady for Valentine's Day. Melissa from tastethehappy made the pattern, but I first saw it on Sprite Stitch. I made the heart a little wider than in her pattern - I'm not sure if I like it better this way or not. The skin tone I used definitely looked too dark, though.
The finished stitch turned out a little crooked, but the picture makes it look even worse. I need to make one a them lightboxes so all my pictures don't look so much like shit. We went with a Big Lots frame as a departure from the dollar store variety.

20 minute stitch

I didn't time myself or nothin', but this was easy to make and only took a few minutes. The coaster is one of a set of four that the Old Lady has had for several years. Until now, all still had the stock photos in them. I didn't even realize until a couple months ago that you were supposed to put your own pictures in them. Don't ask how I missed that.

I'm not sure what's going in the other three coasters. I can't find screenshots of the treasures and the logs would probably look pretty lame. It'll most likely be three gators (crocodiles? hard to tell... but their lower teeth don't seem to be exposed) or a combination of gators and snakes.

On a related note, I came across this site while looking for screenshots. The sight of a hot dog fellating Peter Pepper has scarred me for life.

'When the world is in darkness Four Warriors will come...'

Those goddam pirates. And don't even get me started on sahags...
Here are the Light Warriors after a treacherous sea journey and an encounter with some vicious Asps and Ogres upon making landfall.

This is another dollar store frame, made of simulated woodgrain plastic. It reeks of sophistication. It's hard to tell in the photo, but half the frame is brown and half is black. Claaaaasssy.

SMB 2 Perler Beads

Before I started cross stitching, I made a few Perler Bead sprites. Here are Beezo, Ninji, and Tweeter from Super Mario Bros. 2. I didn't play it much, but I like the characters quite a bit. Except for that piece of crap Birdo.

In the year of 200X...

Apparently, these guys are called Fan Fiends. I never knew that before today - I guess my day wasn't wasted. I followed the colors Stitch v1.2 recommended, but, as you can see, they're not correct. I've still yet to find a program that can match colors accurately. Until I do, I'll have to rely on my non-colorblind old lady.
